For these QR codes, we used a free generator that only requires an Adobe account.
The free generator is called Adobe Express.
Alliance Digital Media Library (ADML)

Libby
Libby is the new app from Overdrive to download eBooks and audiobooks from ADML directly to your mobile device. Requires a valid library card and PIN from a participating RSA Public Library. More info about participating libraries on the ADML page.
Available through the App Store, Google Play Store, or see all the platforms here.
Alternatively, users may access this collection in a browser through both Overdrive and Libby’s web browser Interface.

CloudSource Open Access “Online Articles”
The Open Articles tab within RSAcat is on by default for most libraries.
Your library’s RSAcat online catalog now includes access to over 47 million full text academic articles from 96+ thousand journals, plus over 1.5 million eBooks, eAudio, and educational resources. Everything is available without logging into your account.

eRead Illinois and The Palace Project App
IPLAR Collection Counts (Statistics)
Public libraries, find the number of e-books and audiobooks in the eRead Illinois Boundless collection at the end of your fiscal year on our eRead Illinois Boundless dashboard for IPLAR. The dashboard is updated at the beginning of every month. For additional info on these Illinois reports, see the ILLINET and IPLAR Report Data page.
Access to Boundless through eRead IL has ended. For details, please see the RAILS news announcement. It will be replaced by The Palace Project App, which has gone online for RSA public libraries December 2025. Schools and other RSA libraries are coming online soon.
The Palace Project App
Please find documentation and sample promotional text for The Palace Project on the Palace Project website for libraries. Users will need a valid library card and PIN and PIN from a participating RSA Library. Libraries can keep informed of advancements in this new product and replacement eRead service by heading to the Boundless Transition page (railslibraries.org external link.)

Hoopla
There is an annual fee in order to get hoopla content (like eBooks and other formats) to sync with RSAcat.

Inkie and Biblioboard
Open to all residents of Illinois, BiblioBoard has digital books, images, articles, documents, audio and specially curated collections. Links are on your RSAcat home page and include: App Store, Google Play Store, and Kindle Fire downloads.
MobileStaff
MobileStaff is a limited feature set mobile version of WorkFlows available to all RSA libraries. Due to security concerns, we can only install this product on library-owned Apple and Android devices (tablets, etc.). Popular uses for MobileStaff include inventory, outreach, patron registration, mark item used, and accessing the pick list.

Shoutbomb Text Message Notifications
Learn about the separate text reminder system that any RSA patron can opt into with a text:
1. Open your Messaging app and create a new Text Message to 844-225-9458.
2. Add the following text to your message: SIGNUP+PatronBarcode+PIN and press send.
Users are charged their regular message rates.
