RSA WorkFlows Upgrade Instructions – Updated for the 24 Mar 2024 Upgrade

RSA created instructions on how to upgrade to Workflows 4.1 or later on Windows.  You DO NOT need to upgrade a computer that only displays RSAcat for patrons, self check machines, or other PC and Print management machines.

Downloads For Windows

RSA recommends downloading and installing the software any time after 24 March 2024.  Clicking ‘yes’ to upgrade when Workflows asks does work, but slows down the system due to too many downloads eating up all the internet to the server.

Full Windows Administrator privileges are required to install this update.

Workflows 4.1.0 Full Installation / Upgrade for Windows (for 24 Mar 2024 upgrade)

Workflows installation and upgrade client for Symphony 4.1  This file will install WorkFlows on a computer without an existing Workflows installation or to update an existing installation of WorkFlows.  This file must be installed using administrator privileges on the computer.  This installation will install the client for all windows login users.  This 157mb file will take awhile to download.

For Apple MACs

Workflows 4.1.0 Full Installation or Upgrade for Apple MAC computers (for 24 Mar 2024 upgrade)

Workflows installation and upgrade client for newer Apple MAC computers for Symphony 4.1.0.  This file will install the Workflows client on a new computer or update Workflows on an existing computer.  This 205mb file will take awhile to download.  – If you clicked yes when Workflows asked to upgrade, you probably do not need to download this file!
